Stunning antique large chamberstick in solid brass with a traditional stepped rectangular base. The stem features a shuttle to adjust the height of the candle and remove the end. Its features are consistent with British manufacture, and dates from the early nineteenth century. A very collectable object, this chamberstick remains functional, and would make for a wonderful ornament.

It is in good antique condition overall, with normal signs of wear and use commensurate with age, including various dings and slight deformation to the base, as shown in the pictures. It is nonetheless structurally sound and in perfect working order. The shuttle moves up and down without any issues. This chamberstick has been left unpolished to preserve its natural patina, giving it a rich golden hue.

It measures approximately W19cm x D17cm (without including the handle) x H12cm, and weighs approximately 370g.
